Azure Government and Microsoft 365 GCC High engineering

We configure Azure Government, Azure Commercial and the Microsoft 365 GCC High tenants that defense contractors use for CUI.

Our engineers hold Microsoft and HashiCorp certifications.

Azure Government and GCC High

Azure Government runs in physically isolated US datacenters, and access is limited to screened US persons.

Microsoft 365 GCC High

Microsoft offers GCC High to contractors holding DoW CUI or ITAR data once it has validated their eligibility. Its users can share files only with other GCC High organizations. On CMMC engagements we configure the tenant, Conditional Access and sharing.

What Azure Policy reports

Azure Policy has built-in initiatives for NIST SP 800-171 R2, NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5 and FedRAMP High, in Azure and Azure Government. Microsoft says compliance in Azure Policy is only a partial view of your overall status, so we map each control to the evidence the initiatives leave out.

Reviewing and building your Azure landing zone

Well-Architected review

We review each workload against the five pillars of the Azure Well-Architected Framework, and the landing zone against the Cloud Adoption Framework.

Security engineering

We set up Conditional Access, Defender for Cloud policies, Key Vault integration and Azure Firewall tiers, and map them to CIS Benchmarks, NIST SP 800-53 and your agency’s baseline.
